While the reviewer at Screen Invasion didn’t care for it much, I thought it was an unrelenting thriller that truly put every character in danger. While most action adventure flicks save the main characters throughout, there truly was no “safe” moment or person from the treacherous wolves. However, don’t be fooled by the marketing. This is not an action flick with a bunch of wolf-punching. This is a look at what makes a man a man, how someone survives in the wilderness, and what it takes to make it. Beautiful scenery, a great score, and a solid performance from Liam make this worthy of an Oscar push for 2012.
